Art Scholarship Pathway Workshop

The Art Scholarship pathway pupils, alongside UIV Textiles students, took part in a day long workshop with visiting artist, Haseebah Ali, whose work focuses on using patterns and shapes from Islamic traditions. She shared her journey and inspirations with the artists and taught them about the ornate and beautiful architectural forms of the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. The pupils then created their own prints and patterns in response before working together to create a group piece. The following day, pupils from Winterfold with the help of Art scholars Immy M and Kate I, created their own artwork patterns.
